Formula 1 Champion Shares Personal Insights on Body Art
Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, is not only known for his racing prowess but also for his distinctive fashion sense and lifestyle choices. During a recent interaction with Mercedes-AMG fans, the 38-year-old driver opened up about his tattoo of the late pop icon Michael Jackson.
Hamilton was introduced to tattoos at a young age, inspired by his sister’s marriage to a tattoo artist. He began his body art journey with a large cross on his back and has since added a total of 15 unique designs, each with a personal story reflecting his life experiences.
The tattoo of Michael Jackson, which adorns Hamilton’s right leg, is one of his latest additions. It depicts the ‘King of Pop’ in an iconic toe stand pose. Hamilton discussed this piece during a fan event at the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, noting that he plans to have it touched up soon.
