New Delhi – Indian cricketer Rinku Singh has recently added a new tattoo to his left arm, featuring the phrase “God’s plan” along with a tribute to his remarkable achievement of hitting five sixes in a row during an IPL match. This memorable performance took place on April 9, 2023, against the Gujarat Titans.
Known for his explosive finishing abilities, Rinku’s latest tattoo commemorates his outstanding feat against bowler Yash Dayal. The phrase “God’s plan” not only serves as motivation for Singh but also reflects his sentiments toward Dayal after the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s successful playoff qualification for IPL 2024.
Tattoo artist Raghav shared details on Instagram, revealing that Rinku’s tattoo includes five “O’s,” symbolizing the five consecutive sixes he hit in that historic over.
Rinku Singh last played during the T20I series against Sri Lanka, where he had a quiet outing, scoring just six runs. However, he managed to make an impact by taking two wickets in a crucial Super Over that helped secure a victory for India.
In his T20I career, Rinku has participated in 23 matches, scoring a total of 418 runs at an impressive strike rate of 174.16, which includes two fifties. Additionally, he has played two One Day Internationals against South Africa last year.
The 26-year-old is anticipated to be included in the Indian squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, with the first match scheduled for October 6 in Gwalior. While the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to announce the official T20I squad, Rinku is expected to be part of the team alongside other key players like Hardik Pandya and T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav.
