FORT MYERS, Fla. — This past weekend, the Caloosa Sound Convention Center in downtown Fort Myers became the center of attention as tattoo enthusiasts gathered to admire a variety of tattoos and showcase their own.
The Florida Gulf Coast Tattoo Expo featured 171 booths hosting 200 tattoo artists from local, national, and international backgrounds.
Event organizer Lisa Quinter highlighted the event’s appeal: “We have over 235 artists here, including locals and artists from around the world. There’s live tattooing happening throughout, along with daily tattoo contests.”
Among the artists was Juliano Torres, who traveled across the state to participate. “I always come to showcase my art, especially my freehand style. It’s a great opportunity to meet different clients and connect with people,” Torres said.
