Tattoos require significant time and money, but one father has shown that his investment is worthwhile. Remy, who has spent over £115,000 on tattoos, recently shared his transformation on Instagram, where he has 80,000 followers.
Remy, a Canadian, has dedicated himself to body modification, and his recent post delighted fans with a two-year comparison of his body art. He captioned the post: “The canvas is only as full as you think it is. Imagination changes everything. Late 2022-early 2024 body suit comparison. I’ve made many more changes since the more current photo, stay tuned.”
The post included two photos: one from 2022 and a recent one. Remy estimates he has spent over £115,000 ($200,000 Canadian dollars) on his tattoos, though he stopped counting some time ago.
Remy has tattooed some areas of his body more than 30 times and has focused extensively on his torso. His latest update received many likes and comments. One fan remarked, “Them colours man, beefing up too by the look of things too,” while another said, “Beyond inspirational my guy!” A third fan praised his commitment, stating, “I know that some artworks are never finished,” and a fourth simply called him a “legend.”
Recently, Remy discussed the cost of his tattoo journey in a Q&A session with fans. He said, “I’ve been telling people around $200,000 Canadian dollars (£115,000) for about a year now. I can only imagine it’s a little bit more than that. But it’s not really like I’m keeping close track either. I’m having fun as I go. It’s not like it’s a painful or terrible experience that I can’t wait to end. I’m enjoying myself, so for me, it’s a little bit like going out for dinner or going to a movie with friends. When you’re having fun, you’re not really thinking about it that way.”
