A Toronto resident has shown his admiration for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) by getting a tattoo of its logo on his wrist.
While some might view a TTC logo tattoo as a significant commitment, the tattoo artist described the experience to Now Toronto as a casual, light-hearted activity done in his living room.
“He’s just my friend, and he was staying with me. He asked me to do it, so we did it because it’s funny,” the artist said. “People get so worked up about tattoos, but it really isn’t that serious.”
Online reactions from Torontonians have been mixed, with some praising Michael for his new ink.
“No ragrets,” commented one Instagram user.
“Me next,” added another.
However, some skeptics doubt the tattoo’s authenticity.
“Bruh, that’s marker and you know it,” one person wrote on Instagram.
“Looks like he got it done at a TTC station,” another joked.
This isn’t the first time the TTC has inspired body art. A few years ago, popular Mississauga artist @tattoosbyshiva tattooed a TTC streetcar on a client.
