Country artist Morgan Wallen fulfilled a fan’s wish during a recent performance at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford. Gia Alonso, displaying a sign asking Wallen to draw her first tattoo, caught the singer’s attention. After the show, Wallen penned a heartfelt message on Alonso’s sign, which she then immortalized on her arm.
Alonso, overwhelmed with joy, shared the moment on TikTok, where it garnered immense attention, amassing over 10.6 million views and thousands of comments in just two days.
In another recent musical collaboration, Wallen and singer-rapper Post Malone released the single “I Had Some Help,” which quickly ascended to the top of charts in several countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Norway, and the United States. The song’s success highlights Wallen’s seamless transition into the pop-country genre.
The anticipation for the duet had been building for weeks, fueled by teasers on Post Malone’s Instagram account, featuring images of the pair performing together and sharing the stage.
Looking ahead, Wallen is set to launch his new venture, “This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen,” over Memorial Day weekend. The establishment will feature a diverse menu, including Nashville hot chicken dip, taco-stacked waffles, and Wallen’s signature vodka spaghetti, alongside a wide selection of cocktails, whiskey, beer, and wine.
This endeavor follows Wallen’s previous investment in Nashville’s entertainment scene, having teamed up with TC Restaurant Group to transform a parking lot into a vibrant six-story building dedicated to live music and entertainment, located behind Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row.
