Kylie Kelce Discusses Matching Tattoos With Husband Jason Kelce

by Jessica

Kylie Kelce, 32, recently shared her thoughts on the possibility of getting a matching tattoo with her husband, NFL star Jason Kelce, during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast hosted by Alex Cooper. The episode aired on Wednesday, February 12.

When asked by Cooper if she could see herself getting a tattoo to match Jason’s, Kylie was quick to answer: “No, I think that’s a jinx.” She explained her hesitation, citing the unfortunate trend of couples who get matching tattoos but later break up. “I have no business doing that,” she added.

While many professional athletes are known for their tattoos, Jason, 37, remains a blank canvas. Kylie revealed that while Jason and his brother Travis Kelce had briefly discussed the idea of getting a “Kelce crest” tattoo, she doesn’t foresee them going through with it.

In a previous July 2024 episode of their “New Heights” podcast, the Kelce brothers discussed the tattoo idea. Travis, 37, expressed some interest but admitted he lacked the creative drive to actually get inked. Jason, too, acknowledged the permanence of tattoos and shared his reluctance to commit to one, saying, “It’s the forever thing that really puts a damper on it.” However, he did express interest in another type of tattoo as a tribute to Kylie. “I might get a wedding ring tattoo because I take my ring off to do a lot of things,” he explained, adding that Kylie isn’t thrilled when he misplaces his ring. This potential tattoo wouldn’t be matching, so Kylie likely wouldn’t consider it a jinx.

Cooper Flagg Leads Duke Into the Elite Eight with Historic Performance

Cooper Flagg continues to make headlines with his extraordinary performances during Duke’s NCAA tournament run, most recently in their 100-93 victory over Arizona in the Sweet 16. Flagg’s stat line of 30 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals helped propel Duke into the Elite Eight, and his performance is already being hailed as one of the best in NCAA tournament history.

Duke head coach Jon Scheyer called it “one of the best tournament performances I’ve ever coached or been a part of,” praising Flagg’s competitive spirit and leadership. “He was in his element tonight. He was him,” Scheyer said after the win. Flagg’s all-around play, including his game-high eight fouls drawn, was a key factor in Duke’s ability to hold off Arizona’s relentless comeback efforts.

Throughout the game, Flagg showcased his ability to make big plays in crucial moments. His buzzer-beating 3-pointer before halftime gave Duke a crucial momentum boost, and his calm leadership in the final minutes helped the Blue Devils maintain control, even as Arizona trimmed a 19-point lead to just five.

Flagg’s poise on the court has made him the standout player of the tournament, with many now considering him the best player in college basketball. “A ton of respect for Tommy Lloyd, his team, Arizona, their program,” Scheyer said. “I thought they were incredible tonight. But our guys made some big-time winning plays.”

Flagg’s performance is a reminder that, while Duke is considered one of the tournament favorites, his individual brilliance could be the X-factor in their pursuit of a championship. “He just did what he was supposed to do,” Scheyer remarked, looking ahead to Duke’s upcoming challenge against Alabama.

Flagg, unfazed by the spotlight, remained focused on the task at hand: “I just think it’s about playing with energy, trusting our game plan, and trusting my teammates,” he said. With more games to come, Flagg’s journey at Duke promises to be one of the most exciting in recent memory.
