Walk-In Tattoo and Piercing Day to Go PINK for Libby Mae’s Little Angels

by Jessica

On April 26, 2025, Libby Mae’s Little Angels will host a special charity event to mark what would have been Libby’s 12th birthday. The event, which will include a walk-in tattoo and piercing day, aims to raise funds for the charity’s important work supporting neonatal care across the Midlands.

Starting at 12 PM on April 26, the event will be held at Modern Electric Tattoo in Catshill, with tattoo artists Paul, Beth, Lukasz, and Jay offering tattoos for just £40 each and piercings for £25. All proceeds from the tattoos and piercings will go directly to Libby Mae’s Little Angels. This event is made possible with the support of Barber DTS, who will be providing tattoo supplies for the day.

Paul Talbot, the owner of Modern Electric Tattoo, shared his enthusiasm about the event: “We’ve been in Catshill since 2013, and it’s an honour to work with Libby Mae’s Little Angels. As a local family-owned business, we pride ourselves on providing quality tattoos and piercings in a relaxed and friendly environment. We can’t wait to see everyone and raise funds for such an important cause.”

In addition to the tattoos and piercings, coffee will be available at Modern Electric for £2 per cup, with the proceeds also donated to Libby Mae’s Little Angels.

The charity, founded by Charlotte and Richard Sharratt in 2013 following the loss of their daughter Libby Mae, has raised over £750,000 to support neonatal departments across the Midlands. This funding has gone toward improving care for newborns and families, helping to save lives and enhance the first journeys of babies and their families together.

Charlotte Sharratt expressed her gratitude for the event: “We are so grateful to Paul Talbot and the tattoo artists at Modern Electric for marking Libby’s special day in this way. It means the world to us that so many people are coming together to support our mission.”

Don’t miss this heartwarming event on April 26! Come out for a tattoo or piercing, enjoy a coffee, and help raise funds for neonatal care in Libby Mae’s memory.
