Philmar Alipayo, the Siargao-based surfer who recently made headlines for getting a matching tattoo with his best friend, has sparked speculation after sharing a new photo that seemed to suggest changes to his “224” tattoo.
In a recent shirtless photo, Alipayo’s tattoos were on full display, and fans noticed that the area where the “224” tattoo was once inked appeared to be covered or altered with a new design. As of now, Alipayo has not confirmed if the tattoo was indeed modified.
Last month, Alipayo’s partner, former actress Andi Eigenmann, voiced her frustration on social media after Alipayo and his best friend, Swedish photographer Pernilla Sjoo, got matching tattoos of “224.” The tattoo, which Sjoo had previously explained as “2Today, 2Tomorrow, 4Forever,” caused tension between Alipayo and Eigenmann, though the couple later reconciled.
Amid their reconciliation, Alipayo surprised Eigenmann with a bouquet of banana blossoms on Valentine’s Day. The couple, who began dating in 2018 and got engaged in 2020, also celebrated milestones, including Alipayo reaching 1 million Facebook followers. Both Alipayo and Eigenmann were recently seen getting new tattoos; Eigenmann got a palm branch, while Alipayo’s design was not revealed.
The couple shares two children, Lilo and Koa.
