Vanna White has added a new piece of ink to her collection! The 68-year-old Wheel of Fortune co-host revealed on Monday, March 10, that she had gotten her very first tattoo from her 27-year-old daughter, Giovanna “Gigi” Santo Pietro, a tattoo artist at Lincoln Tattoo Company in Venice, California.
In an Instagram video, Vanna took her followers behind the scenes of her tattoo experience.
“She’s not making me do this. It’s my choice,” Vanna clarified, as she explained that her decision to get a tattoo was a personal one. The tattoo, a pink heart on her wrist, held special meaning for Vanna, as she shared, “so I can look at it every day because she did it.”
Gigi, who was preparing to tattoo her mother, jokingly asked, “Are you nervous? I can feel you shaking.” Vanna playfully responded, saying, “I don’t know if I can watch. I might pass out,” before mouthing to the camera, “I don’t feel anything.”
After Gigi completed the tattoo, Vanna couldn’t be happier with the result. “It looks perfect,” she said, adding, “It’s just what I wanted.”
Vanna and Gigi’s bond was on full display during the fun moment, and in addition to their close relationship, they share a family connection with Vanna’s 30-year-old son, Nikko, who recently went viral.
