Kylie Kelce has no plans to get a matching tattoo with her husband, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, anytime soon.
During an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, which aired Wednesday, Feb. 12, the 32-year-old was asked if she would ever consider getting inked alongside her spouse, whom she married in 2018.
Host Alex Cooper posed the question as part of a game based on Kylie’s well-known phrase, “I have no business doing that.” When asked whether she would get a “matching tattoo with Jason,” Kylie responded definitively: “No, I think that’s a jinx. I have no business doing that.”
She also confirmed that Jason does not have any tattoos, nor does his brother, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
“Jason and Travis talked very briefly about getting the Kelce crest,” Kylie revealed. However, when asked whether she believed they would follow through with it, she replied, “No.”
The Kelce Brothers’ Tattoo Dilemma
The topic of tattoos has come up before. On the July 3, 2024, episode of the New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis discussed the idea of getting a family crest tattoo.
“I would still be open to it,” Travis said at the time. “I just don’t have the creative desire to get a tattoo.”
Jason, however, seemed even more reluctant. “It’s the forever thing that really puts a damper on it,” he admitted. “I’ve never pulled the trigger either, don’t plan on it.”
That said, he did entertain the idea of one small exception—a tattooed wedding ring.
“I might get [a] wedding ring tattoo because I take my ring off to do a lot of things. I don’t like having rings on,” he said, prompting Travis to joke: “You’re notorious for losing rings, Jason, you don’t have to explain yourself.”
Asked how Kylie felt about the idea, Jason said she was “indifferent” but acknowledged she was “a little upset” that he often misplaces his ring.
Keeping Their Early Romance Under Wraps
Elsewhere in the podcast, Kylie opened up about why she initially kept her relationship with Jason a secret.
“I kept it a secret for a long time… I told no one,” she admitted, revealing that only two of her closest friends at Cabrini University were aware of the romance.
When she finally told them Jason played for the Eagles, one of her field hockey teammates recalled a surprising connection.
“Oh, that’s so funny. I know this girl from back home who met this Eagle on Tinder, but it can’t be the same guy because this guy was hideous,” Kylie recalled her friend saying.
The conversation took a twist when her teammate followed up minutes later. “His name was Jason Kelce,” she revealed.
Kylie saw it as validation for keeping their relationship private. “This is why I’m not telling anyone,” she said.
Jason and Kylie met on Tinder before tying the knot in Philadelphia in April 2018 after two years of dating. They now share three daughters—Wyatt Elizabeth, 5, Elliotte Ray, 3, and Bennett Llewellyn, 23 months—and are expecting their fourth child.
