Mom of Two Faces Criticism Over 90% Body Tattoo Coverage

by Jessica

Kyla, a mother of two from Illinois, has shared her experience of living with extensive tattoos that cover 90% of her body, revealing the harsh reactions she often faces from the public.

The self-described “tattoo addict” has spent approximately $330,000 on her body art, which spans her entire body, including her face. While she and her partner, fellow tattoo enthusiast Vampiro, love their ink, Kyla has faced judgment from others who often make assumptions about her parenting abilities based on her appearance.

Public Reactions and Judgment

Kyla explained that she frequently encounters stares, with some parents even pulling their children away when they see her. “People assume we’re bad parents just by looking at us,” she said, recalling instances where she and her partner have been kicked out of restaurants due to their tattoos.

Despite the criticism, Kyla remains confident in her choices. She has been labeled everything from a “circus freak” to an unfit mother by online trolls, but she continues to embrace her appearance.

A Journey of Personal Expression

Kyla’s journey toward tattooing began as an escape from the strict upbringing she experienced in a Mormon church. In an interview with YouTube’s Truly TV, she revealed that the constraints of her early life led her to experiment with her look, and she hasn’t looked back since.

“I never in my life pictured that I would be this heavily tattooed,” Kyla admitted, noting that she now often gets inked twice a week.

Tattooed Parents Challenging Stereotypes

Kyla’s story highlights a broader issue of societal judgments faced by individuals with visible body modifications. She and her partner Vampiro, both heavily tattooed, are often unfairly judged before they even speak. However, Kyla is eager to stress that, despite their appearances, they are “actually very normal, just like everybody else.”

Kyla’s tattoos are more than just body art—they represent a personal journey of self-expression and defiance against societal norms. Despite the ongoing judgment, she remains unapologetically herself.
