Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has revealed that she will keep the matching tattoo she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Zach Bryan, despite their recent breakup. The tattoo, inspired by a lyric from Bryan’s song 28, sparked comments from fans after the split, but LaPaglia, 25, is determined to keep it.
In a TikTok video posted on Sunday, November 10, LaPaglia addressed the ongoing speculation about the tattoo, which features the phrase “How lucky are we.” She explained that the tattoo was her personal choice, saying, “That was my thing. That is my tattoo. Now we’re matching, OK?” She went on to clarify, “I’m not getting it removed. It’s OK. This is mine. How lucky are we? That was me.”
The tattoo was inspired by a song by Bryan, 28, which some fans believed was written about LaPaglia. The song’s lyrics reference her hometown of Boston, leading to speculation about the relationship.
LaPaglia and Bryan, who dated for over a year, parted ways earlier this year. LaPaglia announced their breakup on Instagram on October 22, explaining that the couple had grown apart due to diverging personal and professional paths. Although neither party has gone into detail about the reasons behind their separation, LaPaglia has since opened up about the emotionally abusive dynamics of their relationship.
On her podcast, LaPaglia shared that she often felt mistreated during the relationship, revealing that she cried herself to sleep most nights and felt trapped in a toxic cycle. She also alleged that Bryan offered her $12 million and an apartment in New York City in exchange for her silence about the details of their breakup.
