A new tattoo shop has opened its doors in Taunton’s East Reach, featuring award-winning artists with extensive experience.
Woody’s Tattoo Studio has replaced Rockstar Tattoo, offering a fresh option for those seeking their first tattoo or looking to expand their body art collection.
The studio is owned by Jamie Wood, known as Woody, who brings over eight years of experience from Rockstar Tattoo. He finalized an agreement with the previous owner to take over the shop in August of last year.
However, it was only recently that Woody officially transformed the space into his own.
“I can’t express how proud I am today!” Woody said after the grand opening. “It’s officially Woody’s! I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way.”
The new sign for Woody’s Tattoo Studio was unveiled on October 28.
Customers are already sharing positive experiences. Amanda, who previously got a tattoo from Woody at Rockstar Tattoo, praised the service and atmosphere. “I’m very happy with my tattoo. The room is lovely and airy, and Woody executed my design beautifully. One happy chick!”
Woody’s Tattoo Studio is located next to Dreamcuts Barbers at 1 East Reach, Taunton, TA1 3EN.
Looking ahead, Woody is excited about the future of his business. He plans to enhance his online presence, allowing customers to inquire about bookings via Instagram and Facebook.
“I have a fantastic team, and the former owner of Rockstar Tattoo is joining me to continue this venture,” Woody said. “After eight years here, I’m thrilled to finally have a place to call my own. Although I’ve officially owned the studio since August 2023, the new sign and decor make it truly feel like mine.”
As of October 29, Woody’s Tattoo Studio is open for business, inviting the community to come in and explore.
