Pedro Pascal recently showcased his fanboy side in the cutest way possible while discussing Gladiator II with co-star Paul Mescal.
During their chat with Entertainment Weekly, Pascal noticed something different about Mescal. His reaction was priceless. “What are you trying to f**king kill me for?” he exclaimed. “When did you get that?”
Mescal revealed he had gotten a new tattoo, one that clearly held deep meaning for both him and Pascal, as well as many movie fans.
“It says… if I say it out loud, I will burst into tears,” Pascal admitted. Mescal then shared the tattoo’s words: “Meet me in Montauk,” prompting an exaggerated wail from Pascal.
This quote is widely recognized as an iconic line from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, featuring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet as a couple who choose to erase their memories of each other.
While Mescal’s tattoo may not have been news to fans, Pascal’s heartfelt meltdown over it was a delightful moment that many will cherish.
