Chrissy Teigen has unveiled new ink—albeit temporary! The model and cookbook author attended the ChainFEST LA food festival on Saturday, October 5, where she revealed a new temporary tattoo featuring a “White Castle” design on her lower back.
In an Instagram video, Teigen, 38, explained her unique addition. She shared that she was dressed in a tight latex outfit, which included a black bodysuit and a nude pencil skirt, making it “difficult” to move comfortably. Turning to the camera, she pulled down her skirt to showcase her new tattoo, which appeared to feature a helmet with wings and some letters underneath.
“This is a White Castle lower back tattoo,” she laughed, revealing that she learned the ink from the famous hamburger chain lasts for eight days. “Oh my God,” she added, shaking her head in disbelief.
Teigen’s visit to ChainFEST was not just about the tattoo; she also made a splash on the red carpet, where she posed in her striking outfit and discussed her family’s Halloween costume plans with PEOPLE.
“We love Halloween,” she said. “But now it’s about kids’ Halloween. I actually prefer kid ones because they’re so fun and cute, and they happen during the day, allowing me to go to bed early.”
Teigen and her husband, John Legend, share four children: Luna, 8; Miles Theodore, 6; Esti Maxine, 20 months; and Wren Alexander, 15 months. The family is known for their creative Halloween costumes, but this year might be different.
“My kids don’t know any of the families I want to dress up as, so I pitched them some ideas, and they’re like, ‘Who’s that?’” she joked. Her son Miles has expressed a specific desire for his costume this year, wanting to dress as DJ Marshmello, whom he admires.
Teigen still has to prepare costumes for her youngest two, Esti and Wren, and playfully noted that being “babies” gives her the freedom to dress them however she wishes.
