A former tattoo and piercing parlour on the Norwich city boundary may soon be transformed into a flat.
Plans have been proposed to convert Chameleon Tattoo, located at 363B Aylsham Road, into a two-bedroom property. The first-floor establishment is situated above Ingenious Scissors and MD Aesthetics & Beauty, near the busy Boundary junction and opposite The Boundary pub.
If the plans are approved, the entire 69-square-metre space will be renovated. One of the existing studio areas will be divided into two bedrooms, while the larger studio will be converted into a living and dining area.
The kitchen will also see improvements, with an expansion to include a four-hob cooker and overhead lighting. Additionally, the bathroom’s doorway will be repositioned to accommodate a new sink and shower unit.
There will be no changes made to the exterior of the building.
These plans come shortly after new tenants took over the nearby Boundary pub. Sarah and John Hinds aim to revitalize the Hellesdon area by hosting regular entertainment nights, quizzes, and bridge events.
