A 26-year-old woman is feeling embarrassed after her mother announced plans to tattoo her husband’s initial on her wrist. The woman, who has been in a relationship with her husband for five years, shared on Reddit that her mother views him more as a son than a son-in-law.
To express her affection, the mother decided to get her husband’s initial tattooed alongside her own husband’s and son’s initials. The woman expressed her mixed feelings, stating, “He is my soulmate, and all our friends and family think so too.”
She explained that her mother recently got a tattoo featuring the initials of her children and wanted to add her husband’s initial. While she appreciates her mother’s support, she feels the gesture may be going too far. “I told her that was very kind, but anything can happen, even if the chance is slim,” she noted.
Both she and her husband find the idea a bit strange but ultimately respect her mother’s decision. Comments on her post reflected similar sentiments.
