Okanagan Tattoo Show Draws Hundreds for 10th Anniversary Celebration

by Jessica

The Okanagan Tattoo Show in Kelowna drew hundreds of attendees this past weekend, with artists from all over Canada setting up at the Kelowna Curling Club for the three-day event.

One such artist, Kurtis Rogers of Frequency Tattoo from Norquay, Saskatchewan, made his debut at the show. He took on walk-in clients throughout the convention and had a steady flow of business every day. Rogers, who has been tattooing for four years, expressed his satisfaction with his career choice, saying, “It’s a very rewarding job. I’ve never been happier with anything in my entire life, other than my family.”

Before the show, Rogers and his family enjoyed some beach time in the Okanagan, making it difficult for them to leave once the event concluded. Encouraged by his positive experience, Rogers confirmed his plans to participate again next year.
