A recent study by LLTattoo has revealed that Pink Floyd is the most popular band for tattoo inspiration among rock fans worldwide. The research, which analyzed search volume data from Google Keyword Planner, found that Pink Floyd generated 13,000 monthly searches, significantly outpacing Guns N’ Roses, which recorded 10,675 searches. German metal band Rammstein secured the third spot with 10,558 monthly searches.
Mentor Dedaj of LLTattoo commented on the findings, noting the strong connection between rock music and tattoos. “It’s interesting to see which bands inspire the most tattoos globally. Rock music and tattoos go hand in hand, and many fans use ink to express their passion for these artists,” Dedaj explained. While some of the results were expected, the study also highlighted a few surprising entries on the list, as well as notable absences.
