The Westchester Blood and Ink Tattoo & Horror Convention is set to return for its eighth year, bringing together tattoo enthusiasts, horror fans, and families for a weekend of creativity and entertainment. The event will take place from Friday, November 15, to Sunday, November 17, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
This year’s convention promises a diverse range of activities, with hundreds of world-renowned tattoo artists showcasing their skills, as well as a variety of performances, celebrity appearances, and family-friendly attractions.
A Weekend of Tattoos, Horror, and Live Entertainment
Organized by Addicted to Ink, a local tattoo studio in White Plains, the convention is a haven for those seeking new ink and tattoo artistry inspiration. Attendees can expect to see some of the top tattoo artists from around the globe, ready to create one-of-a-kind designs for convention-goers.
While tattoos are at the heart of the event, there’s much more to explore. The weekend will feature an array of live entertainment, including performances by both national music acts and local bands. For fans of the bizarre, there will also be sideshow performances, including aerial acts by Soaring Sam and comedic stunts by Jelly Boy the Clown, who has been featured on “America’s Got Talent.”
Celebrity Appearances and Special Reunions
A highlight of the 2024 Blood and Ink Tattoo & Horror Convention is its impressive lineup of celebrity appearances. Horror movie fans will have the chance to meet iconic stars, including Alex Vincent from the Chucky series, Roger L. Jackson, the voice of Ghostface in all six Scream films, and Naomi Grossman from American Horror Story. Other notable actors from classic horror franchises such as Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, IT, The Hills Have Eyes, Charmed, and Annabelle will also be on hand for photo ops, autographs, and panels.
Additionally, this year’s convention will feature a special reunion with the cast of the beloved 1993 film Hocus Pocus. Fans will have the opportunity to meet Kathy Najimy, Thora Birch, Vinessa Shaw, Jason Marsden, and Omri Katz, who all starred in the movie.
Miss Inked Pageant and Family-Friendly Activities
One of the most anticipated events of the weekend is the Miss Inked Pageant, which offers contestants the chance to win cash prizes, free tattoos, and trophies. In addition to the tattoo-centric events, the convention is designed to be a family-friendly experience. The Kids Zone will provide a range of free activities for children, including bounce houses, games, coloring workshops, and more.
Whether you’re a tattoo enthusiast, horror movie buff, or simply looking for a fun and unique weekend event, the Westchester Blood and Ink Tattoo & Horror Convention offers something for everyone. Tickets are available now for a one-of-a-kind experience filled with art, performances, celebrity encounters, and more.
